Below are the 100% .mil-spec parts lists to build a true SPR or Mk12 clone. Some of these parts are no longer manufactured and will require much effort and money to locate through forums and online brokers. Keep in mind the rifles were built off donor M16A1s, hence the prevalent A1 parts in the lower receivers and the BCGs.

Folks generally got a handle on the right parts. Right now, the FBI has stopped throwing out their T2s/Spuhr mounts because folks are starting to regret replacing them with the ROMEO RDS. Things aren't holding up to abuse and long life. Who knew. You'll see the Aimpoint make a comeback. Also, nobody in this thread has the right gas block.
Earlier guns (C7A1-C8A1 and later) likely used LW Schneider lower parts and most C7s and C8s (pre-A1) used home grown Diemaco made lower parts. It’s possible some lower parts were sent to Diemaco from Colt to use while they were spinning up production. Essentially the Colt/CC comparison was between two SEMI-auto safeties.
Factory bolts are unobtainium and no one currently manufactures a replacement. Best you can hope for is to find someone parting out a rifle and pay their asking price. AR-15 triggers work great but since Daewoo receivers are slightly wider the factory trigger pins or Colt 901 length pins are recommended.
Just got my first French rifle, was stated to have a sticky bolt and turns out this screw was backed out and the threads we're rounded on the screw. When that screw is out it let the top of the receiver tighten up and cause the bolt to be hard to cycle, fixed the threads and installed the screw and cycles great now. Attached File
Regarding spare parts: does anywhere sell just the rubber buffer tip and roll pin? I see that pretty much all these kits have that rubber buffer tip completely disintegrated. Dunno if the entire buffer assembly is exactly the same as a standard AR rifle buffer: which I wouldn't mind just interchanging, but ideally I'd like to keep the OG parts.
In 1999 the MISR S/A rifle was imported without triggers, sears, pistol grips,or hammers. US parts were added to comply with United States Code Title 18,Chapter 44,Section 922,Paragraph (r). Maadi S/As were made on Russian equipment, they also have a chrome lined barrel. The MISR S/A rifle was imported without triggers, sears, pistol grips,or hammers.
The extra energy and effective range afforded by the .300 Win Mag over the 7.62X51 NATO was an immediate hit among SEAL snipers, so further developments of the concept eventually led to a standardized and more widely-issued rifle and ammunition which were dubbed the MK13 (Mark 13) Sniper Rifle and the MK248 Mod 0 cartridge.
Parts Kits, Bolt Group, Butt stock, and Barrel DPMS parts kits are well liked for retro builds, I personally have used the RRA kits with the standard triggers. Either one should do fine. C7 rifles use an A2 profile barrel in 1/7 twist. My personal preference is for 1/9 twist rather than 1/7, but either would work fine.
