Lepenski Vir is located on the right bank of the Danube in eastern Serbia, within the Iron Gates gorge. It is situated in the village of Boljetin , near Donji Milanovac . [ 6 ] The view above and across the Danube is wide open and the stable and enduring terrain on the river's bank resists the intensely erosive effects of the Danube.
Mother Serbia is the female personification of the nation and the metaphoric mother of all Serbs. [5] Serbian national myths and poems constantly invoke Mother Serbia.
