Cedar Lake has lost a lot of water in the past few years. It is very very shallow now. Pike can be good in the spring. They head to the north end where the lake dumps out. Pan fishing can be hit or miss. Stop at Wellmans bait shop in Oscoda. Ask them who and where to go. You might try another area lake.
