The Circuit Clerk is the Clerk of the Circuit Courts and acts as the ex-officio recorder of HEMPSTEAD County. The Circuit Clerk is made up of Domestic Relations, Civil, Criminal, and Juvenile Courts. Administrative duties of the Circuit Clerk are to maintain a record of all proceedings of the Circuit Courts and to prep the dockets for these Courts.
