The bailiwick is made up of several islands in the Channel Islands, namely (Herm, Sark, Alderney and Guernsey). Guernsey's territorial waters limit is 3 miles. For commercial fishing the bailiwick has a Fisheries Management Agreement enabling the licence and management of commercial fishing up to 12 nautical miles. [1]

The Channel Islands [note 1] are an archipelago in the English Channel, off the French coast of Normandy.They are divided into two Crown Dependencies: the Bailiwick of Jersey, which is the largest of the islands; and the Bailiwick of Guernsey, consisting of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm and some smaller islands.
