Somerset Cider Brandy is an apple brandy that has been in written records as far back as 1678. [1] A modern version was first produced by Burrow Hill in 1987. It reportedly became the first legal distillery in Somerset for 150 years, when, in 1989, the farm received the first full cider-distilling licence ever issued by the UK's HM Customs and Excise.
Cedar Hill, also known as Cress Farm, is a historic home and farm located near Buena Vista, Rockbridge County, Virginia. The Federal style dwelling was built about 1821. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Merrimack Valley was once home to numerous apple and fruit orchards, of which several still remain. Some of the larger remaining orchards include Apple Hill, Cider Hill, Long Hill Orchard, Mann Orchards, and Smolak Farms. Apple picking is a popular pastime in the Merrimack Valley during the late summer and fall months.
The farm has since undergone extensive repair work and in 2000 [6] the King-Turner family opened it as a cider farm and nature reserve. The farm which covers 14 acres [ 7 ] not only produces local cider but also hosts a range of activities for visitors and the local community.
