Jason Woodman (born c. 1979) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Morehead State University; a position he has held since 2024. [1] He was the head football coach for Fairmont State University from 2013 to 2023.
Sherwood Wayne Chapman (September 26, 1937 – April 4, 2017) [1] was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky from 1976 to 1978, compiling a record of 6–21–3. [2]
Morehead State's current head coach is Jonathan Mattox. He was hired as the Eagles' head coach in April 2024, [2] replacing Preston Spradlin, who departed from the program to coach at James Madison University.

Robert G. Laughlin (died August 8, 1985) was a college basketball coach and athletics administrator. He was the head coach of Morehead State from 1953 to 1965. He coached Morehead State to a 166–120 record, winning four Ohio Valley Conference championships and three NCAA tournament appearances.
Prior to the seasons at Morehead State, she served as head coach at NCAA Division III Denison University for six years (2002–2007). Before her head coaching assignments, Bruder was assistant coach at Bluffton College in 2001 after beginning her college coaching career as an assistant coach at Albion College (1999–2000).
