Charmed is an American television series created by Constance M. Burge. In the United States, Charmed premiered on The WB on October 7, 1998 and ended on May 21, 2006, with 178 episodes. [1] [2] Charmed originally aired on Wednesday nights at 9:00 pm, [1] before moving to Thursday nights for its second, third and fourth seasons.
As Rodriguez makes plans for his attempt to kill the Charmed Ones, he receives a visit from Tempus (David Carradine), a demon who can turn back time and who was sent by The Source to help in case he fails. Tempus rewinds time each time Rodriguez fails to kill the Charmed Ones until the warlock succeeds in killing all the sisters.
Charmed went through several timeslot changes during its eight-season run. During its fifth season, the show moved to the Sunday 8:00 pm timeslot, where it became the highest-rated Sunday night program in The WB's history. [4] [5] At 178 episodes, Charmed was the second-longest drama broadcast by The WB, behind 7th Heaven.
