Keith Matthew Tkachuk (/ k ə ˈ tʃ ʌ k /; born March 28, 1972) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) in a 18-year career with the Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Thrashers, retiring in 2010.
Tkachuk was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Keith and Chantal (née Oster) [3] Tkachuk. His father is a former National Hockey League player who had an 18-year career with the original Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Thrashers and is a member of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. Tkachuk was the captain of the gold-winning U.S. under-18 national team at the 2017 IIHF World U18 Championships.
