National Defence Headquarters Carling, [1] or NDHQ Carling [2] (originally Carling Campus [3]), is a 148.79-hectare (367.7-acre) site containing federal government buildings near the Crystal Bay area in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Pearkes, [3] was constructed between 1969 and 1974, and was originally intended for use by the Department of Transport.When a planned National Defence Headquarters complex on the LeBreton Flats was not built, however, DND acquired the Colonel By Drive structure.
