The Lumsden–Boone Building is a historic commercial building located at 226 Fayetteville Street in the Fayetteville Street Historic District of Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Constructed in 1896 for tin and hardware dealer J.C.S. Lumsden, the building is the only surviving metal-front building today on Fayetteville Street .
The trust has two ex-AFFCO locomotives that were formerly preserved by the Goldfields Railway, [3] [4] the chassis of P 60, [5] ex-New Zealand Railways (NZR) wagons that were formerly preserved by the Ohai Railway Board Heritage Trust, a railway station including a crane next to it [6] and a jail from the Lumsden camping grounds. [2]
When Lumsden died on 28 November 2001 at the age of 95, the advertisement was broadcast again in his memory, nearly 20 years after its first appearance. In February 2011, Yellow Pages re-made the advertisement, with fictional DJ Day V. Lately searching for a copy of his trance remix "Pulse and Thunder", which was released for sale at the same time.
