Wesley Seminary has completed construction of its seminary on the IWU campus in Marion, Indiana in part through a donation from the Green family, owners of the Hobby Lobby corporation. On April 12, 2012, the cornerstone for the new $7 million Wesley Seminary building was laid and the facility was completed in 2013.
Drury went on to become the inaugural Professor of Theology and Spiritual Formation at Wesley Seminary in Marion, IN where he served from 2010 to 2021. In 2021 he accepted the position of Spiritual Formation Coordinator in the chapel office at Indiana Wesleyan University .
In 2008, the Board of Trustees approved a motion to begin the process of establishing Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University, an evangelical seminary affiliated with both the university and the Wesleyan Church. In 2009, the seminary was approved and accredited and opened for the fall 2009 semester.
Ken graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University in 1962, and from Wesley Theological Seminary in 1965. In 1980 he earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School . He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Millsaps College in 2004.

He taught philosophy and New Testament at Indiana Wesleyan University for 22 years (1997-2019). During that time he was also Dean of Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University for six years (2009-2015) and Dean of the mostly undergraduate School of Theology and Ministry for three years (2016-2019).
