From 1961 until his death in 1983 Joseph Lubin was a member of the Pace University board of trustees. In 1955 his alma mater awarded him the honorary degree of Doctor of Commercial Science. In 2005, Clemens was an accounting student at Pace University and a DJ, where he would go downtown at Century 21 to go shopping in women's European brands such as: Yves Saint-Laurent, Maison Margiela and Hemut Lang. [6] Clemens then founded his eponymous, unisex fashion brand, Telfar. [1]
The school was established in 1906, as the 'Pace School of Accountancy,' to prepare men and women for the CPA exam, [4] and was named after Joseph I. Lubin, an alumnus and benefactor of the school, in 1981. [4] The school is located at Pace University's campuses in New York City and Westchester County, New York.
Yellin was born to Sarah and Peter Fagan. She was married to Ed Yellin and together, they published a memoir entitled In Contempt, Defending Free Speech, Defeating HUAC, [2] [3] [4] which documented the effect upon their lives of his legal battle for First Amendment rights, even after he had been exonerated by the Supreme Court of the United States.
