Fussball-Club Luzern (German pronunciation: [ɛf ˈt͡seː luˈtsɛrn]), or simply abbreviated to FCL, is a Swiss sports club based in Lucerne (German: Luzern).It is best known for its professional football team, which plays in the Super League, the top tier of the Swiss football league system, and has won the national title once and the national cup three times.

The 2021–22 season was the 97th season in the existence of FC Luzern and the club's 26th consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football.In addition to the domestic league, FC Luzern participated in this season's editions of the Swiss Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Villiger is a product of the youth academies of FC Sins, Zug 94, Kriens and Luzern. [1] He began his senior career with the reserves of Luzern in 2021, where he scored 15 goals in 48 games. He signed his first professional contract with Luzern on 2 April 2023. [ 2 ]
