Burt Lake State Park is a public recreation area covering approximately 125 acres (51 ha) on the south shore of Burt Lake at Indian River in Cheboygan County, Michigan.The state park features 2,000 feet (610 m) of sandy shoreline, swimming and boating access to the Inland Lakes Waterway, fishing on the Sturgeon River and Burt Lake, and camping facilities.

Corey Lake is a home to smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, rainbow trout, yellow perch, northern pike, and bluegill. Some fish species were introduced to the lake. The lake's fish were first surveyed by the State of Michigan in 1887. [10] Surrounding the lake are open oak woodlands. Other plants include milkweed, bluestem, and columbine.
The main geographic feature of the recreation area is Lake Hudson (sometimes referred to as Hudson Lake). [5] The lake has a surface area of 502 acres (2.03 km 2) and a maximum depth of 24 feet (7.3 m). [6] The lake was originally three separate smaller lakes called Bear Lake, Covell Lake, and Haley Lake.
