Miller Industries is an American tow truck and towing equipment manufacturing company based in the Chattanooga suburb of Ooltewah, Tennessee.Its primary subsidiary, Miller Industries Towing Equipment Inc., manufactures a variety of light- to heavy-duty wreckers, car carriers, and rotators under several brand names, including Century, Vulcan, Chevron, and Holmes.
The company was founded as Livingston Merchant's Co-op in 1958 and incorporated as Averitt Express in 1969. [2] [3] Averitt is owned by Gary Sasser, who purchased the company from its original owner, Thurman Averitt, in October 1971 at the age of 20.
Rush Enterprises, headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas, is an international retailer of commercial vehicles, primarily new and used trucks, through its Rush Truck Centers.
