In addition, we also assist the public in obtaining copies of incident reports and calls for service, local records checks, and insurance requests. All incident reports are scanned into the Document Management System where they will remain permanently. Incident reports where an arrest has been made are processed and disseminated as follows:
INMATE VISITATION: Visitation is no longer at the Detention Center; it is now Video Visitation, which can be set up remotely to visit from home or the option to video visit at the Lake County Detention Center Visitation Center. The address is 28129 County Road 561 Tavares, FL 32778.

On a daily basis, we transport inmates to and from the county jail for court. The Courthouse has 38 holding cells with a capacity of approximately 315 inmates on a temporary basis for court proceedings.
