This and this. I increased the size of my cursor when they added the ability (must be getting old, I also increased text size in the last year or so too), and have had the circle cursor WeakAura for years now. Super useful.
Your mouse cursors or folder must be in C:/Windows/Cursors, just to provide a quick and easy answer without having to click the link on u/M0nk3yP00's post and getting sent to a sort of reading-heavy howto.
If anyone wants the DEFAULT cursor, go to C:\LDPlayer\LDPlayer9\res and delete these 2 files: GameCursorNormal GameCursorDown This will force LDplayer to use your windows mouse cursor, without you having to download a custom one and edit it in..! found it much easier.
I've been having problems with locating the cursor in my games and have been wondering if anyone has found a way to either change the "skin" of the cursor or found a method of keeping it visable in later rounds? Also, will changing the cursor count as hacking or is it just modding, and will it stop me from playing with my friends online?

Hey there, so I've changed my mouse cursor theme with lxappearance and it works only on certain applications. I can't really tell which ones, e.g. when the background is visible and I move the mouse over it, I get the desired cursor; slack, signal and discord as well. But nearly every other application has a far larger black cursor (adwaita?).
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\resource\cursor. Replace files with custom cursor files. File must be .ani, if not use GraphicsGale to convert. Rename custom file to match old file name if needed, ex: pwetty_cursor.ani -> cursor_attack_default.ani Open properties on custom file and make 'Read Only' ticked.
can't change the color of the white cursor which you use on the white background, obviously. Why would you want to change the color? You want the cursor and the background upon which the cursor is displayed to match don't you? You wouldn't want them to contrast each other, would you?
