The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru (Japanese: どろろと百鬼丸伝, Hepburn: Dororo to Hyakkimaru Den) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoshi Shiki. It is a remake of the original manga series Dororo by Osamu Tezuka. It has been serialized in Akita Shoten's Champion Red magazine since October 2018.
Dororo revolves around a rōnin named Hyakkimaru (百鬼丸) and young orphaned thief named Dororo (どろろ) during the Sengoku period.The rōnin was born malformed, limbless and without facial features or internal organs.
Hyakkimaru follows Dororo who had been captured by bandits to use her father's hidden treasure and in the meantime fight his brother again for a brief time again. Although now feeling more affection towards Dororo, Hyakkimaru succumbs to his wrath when he is unable to save Dororo, who nearly drowns, because he does not have real arms.
