The Mount Pleasant Redoubt at Stoke, Plymouth. About 1,000 yards (900 metres) forward of the Dock Lines, a rectangular redoubt was built at Stoke on top of Mount Pleasant. [13] It was an earthwork with stone facings, defended by a ditch and drawbridge. The remains of the redoubt can be seen in Mount Pleasant Park. [14]
