The Fury defeated the Raiders, 58–48, and advanced to the league championship. The title game, dubbed Ultimate Bowl III, was played on June 8 between the No. 1 Florida Tarpons and the No. 2 Corpus Christi Fury at the Germain Arena at Estero, Florida. The league went to 4 teams to start the season Corpus Christi Fury, Florida Tarpons, Missouri Voodoo and Miami Inferno. On July 12, 2014, it was announced that the Miami Inferno were suspended for the remainder of the 2014 season and all games would be forfeited.
