Natural iron (26 Fe) consists of four stable isotopes: 5.845% 54 Fe (possibly radioactive with half-life > 4.4 × 10 20 years), [4] 91.754% 56 Fe, 2.119% 57 Fe and 0.286% 58 Fe. There are 28 known radioisotopes and 8 nuclear isomers, the most stable of which are 60 Fe (half-life 2.6 million years) and 55 Fe (half-life 2.7 years).
This is a list of radioactive nuclides (sometimes also called isotopes), ordered by half-life from shortest to longest, in seconds, minutes, hours, days and years. Current methods make it difficult to measure half-lives between approximately 10 −19 and 10 −10 seconds.
For soil activation products, aluminium-28 is the most important contributor during the first 15 minutes. Manganese-56 and sodium-24 follow until about 200 hours. Iron-59 follows at 300 hours, and after 100–300 days, the significant contributor becomes cobalt-60. Radioactive particles can be carried for considerable distances.

Praseodymium is a chemical element; it has symbol Pr and the atomic number 59. It is the third member of the lanthanide series and is considered one of the rare-earth metals . It is a soft, silvery, malleable and ductile metal , valued for its magnetic, electrical, chemical, and optical properties.
Aluminium can capture a neutron and generate radioactive sodium-24, which has a half life of 15 hours [9] [10] and a beta decay energy of 5.514 MeV. [ 11 ] The activation of a number of test target elements such as sulfur , copper, tantalum , and gold have been used to determine the yield of both pure fission [ 12 ] [ 13 ] and thermonuclear ...
Some of the public health websites that the US government was ordered to restore involving gender and gender identity now carry a warning denying the existence of transgender people.
Iron-55 (55 Fe) is a radioactive isotope of iron with a nucleus containing 26 protons and 29 neutrons. It decays by electron capture to manganese-55 and this process has a half-life of 2.737 years. The emitted X-rays can be used as an X-ray source for various scientific analysis methods, such as X-ray diffraction .
