In late 1979 Mark Tyme, Dom Wood, Lorraine Whitmarsh, Carol Fletcher, Lyndsey Ward, Donna Fielding and Lee Black left Hot Gossip to form Sponooch, which was featured in the BBC TV shows Friday Night Saturday Morning (1979) and Dancing Girls (6 January 1982). They signed to EMI and released two singles, "Crime Buster" and "Lady Dracula".
She was a dancer with the British dance troupe Hot Gossip which appeared regularly on The Kenny Everett Video Show in the late 1970s and early 1980s in the United Kingdom. [2] In the 1980s Lister was a backing vocalist for a number of pop music acts, including Billy Idol , with whom she had a nine-year relationship.
In Britain, Phillips first became a household name as the director and choreographer of Hot Gossip, a British dance troupe which she formed in 1974, [3] using students she was teaching at the time. Hot Gossip spent two years performing in a London night club where Phillips and her manager developed the group's dance act. [3]
Therese "Bunty" Bailey (born 23 May 1964) [1] is an English former actress, model and dancer. Bunty started her career as a dancer in the dance group Hot Gossip in the early 1980s. [ 2 ] She became known as the girl in the music videos of a-ha 's singles " Take On Me " and " The Sun Always Shines on T.V. " made in 1985.

Erin Lordan (8 November 1963 – 26 February 2005) was a British singer and dancer who had hits in the UK with BBG, Bamboo, Ascension and Shut Up and Dance. [1] She was a member of the dance troupe Hot Gossip. Erin was also "The Bride" in the Elton John video "Kiss the Bride". Lordan died of cancer on 26 February 2005. [2]
