A few people here including myself have complained about OEM Honda batteries dying on them prematurely. My Honda battery would cause my car to crank slowly during the winter. Replaced at dealer, same thing. Died a few months after. No such issues with my costco battery. Cranks right up every time.

Went to dealer #4 over the weekend and picked up the replacement battery. In and out in about 10 minutes. The issue is that they need to be reimbursed for the bad battery from Honda and they do that through the service department which normally means you bring in the car and have the battery replaced.
However, I've also found that the genuine Honda-branded replacement batteries that you can buy or will receive as a replacement if your OE battery fails during the 3/36 warranty period are among the longer-lasting batteries available. Some people blame shorter battery life on higher electrical loads in newer vehicles.

Three suggestions-AutoZone auto parts stores which sell Duralast brand batteries (Red,i.e. "Regular" and Gold types),Costco,which sells Kirkland batteries and Sams' Club that sells Duracell batteries. (no relation to the ones in your flashlight!) Of course you have to be a member to buy from the last two places.
