Corner Brook (2021 population: 19,333 [1] CA 29,762) is a city located on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Corner Brook is the fifth largest settlement in Newfoundland and Labrador, and the largest outside the Avalon Peninsula .

Near the mouth of the Humber River appropriately named "Humber Mouth", is the city of Corner Brook (2006 pop.: 20,083), as well as several neighbouring suburbs. The Humber River was used for many years to float logs down to the Bay of Islands where a large Bowater pulp and paper mill at Corner Brook turned them into paper products.
Corner Brook is the smallest city by population in the province, with 19,333 residents. Mount Pearl is the smallest by land area, with 15.65 km 2 (6.04 sq mi). Route 450 begins in Corner Brook at an interchange with Route 1 (Trans-Canada Highway, Exit 4), with the road continuing northeast as Massey Drive to the town of the same name. It heads west along the southern edge of the city to have an intersection with Wheelers Road, which provides access to the Grenfell Campus .
Lark Harbour is small fishing community on the western coast of Newfoundland, on the south side of the Bay of Islands, and west of the City of Corner Brook. Combined with neighbouring York Harbour, there is a population of about 880. Blow Me Down Provincial Park lies on the boundary between the two communities.
