Elward Thomas Brady Jr. (September 9, 1926 – April 6, 2007), [1] was a businessman from Houma in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, who served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1972 to 1976 during the first term of Governor Edwin Edwards.
The Houma community has worked to diversify the parish economy. While the oil industry is still the primary source of revenue for the Houma-Terrebonne area, alternative industries are emerging.
