Lapland, also known by its Swedish name Lappland (Northern Sami: Sápmi, Finnish: Lappi, Latin: Lapponia), is a province in northernmost Sweden. It borders the Swedish provinces of Jämtland , Ångermanland , Västerbotten , and Norrbotten , as well as Norway and Finland .
