The University of Wisconsin Colleges Online was an online college program part of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, the freshman-sophomore campuses of the University of Wisconsin System. It was replaced by the University of Wisconsin Extended Campus Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree (AAS).
The UW Colleges were also frequently used as a stepping stone in order to transfer to another institution in the University of Wisconsin System. This was facilitated by the "Guaranteed Transfer Program" whereby a student was guaranteed admission as a junior to another institution if certain requirements are met.
The UW Continuum College offices are located in the University District, Seattle in the UW Tower (which was purchased from Safeco in 2006). Programs are run at the main UW campus and at various locations through UW Professional & Continuing Education. The UW Continuum College is directed by Vice Provost Rovy Branon. [1]
