Bombus pascuorum, the common carder bee, is a species of bumblebee present in most of Europe in a wide variety of habitats such as meadows, pastures, waste ground, ditches and embankments, roads, and field margins, as well as gardens and parks in urban areas and forests and forest edges.
Bombus sonorus, commonly known as the Sonoran bumble bee, is a species of bumble bee in the family Apidae. It is found in Central America and western and southwestern North America. [1] [2] [3] Considered uncommon, it is sometimes categorized as a subspecies of Bombus pensylvanicus. [4]

A bumblebee (or bumble bee, bumble-bee, or humble-bee) is any of over 250 species in the genus Bombus, part of Apidae, one of the bee families. This genus is the only extant group in the tribe Bombini , though a few extinct related genera (e.g., Calyptapis ) are known from fossils .
Bombus terrestris, the buff-tailed bumblebee or large earth bumblebee, is one of the most numerous bumblebee species in Europe. It is one of the main species used in greenhouse pollination , and so can be found in many countries and areas where it is not native, such as Tasmania . [ 2 ]
Franklin's bumblebee (Bombus franklini) is one of the most narrowly distributed bumblebee species, [3] making it a critically endangered bee of the western United States. [4] It lives only in a 190-by-70-mile (310 by 110 km) area in southern Oregon and northern California , between the Coast and Sierra-Cascade mountain ranges.
Bombus hortorum, the garden bumblebee or small garden bumblebee, is a species of bumblebee found in most of Europe north to 70°N, as well as parts of Asia and New Zealand. [2] It is distinguished from most other bumblebees by its long tongue used for feeding on pollen in deep-flowered plants. [ 3 ]
Bombus impatiens, the common eastern bumblebee, is the most commonly encountered bumblebee across much of eastern North America. [3] They can be found in the Eastern temperate forest region of the eastern United States , southern Canada , and the eastern Great Plains . [ 4 ]
