Meteor Garden (Chinese: 流星花園; pinyin: Liúxīng Huāyuán) is a 2001 Taiwanese drama starring Barbie Hsu, Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Vanness Wu.It is the first live-action television adaptation of the Japanese manga series Boys Over Flowers (花より男子, Hana Yori Dango) by Yoko Kamio.
Chou rose to fame for his role as Hua Ze Lei in the highly popular Taiwan television series Meteor Garden. [4] At the conclusion of the series, Chou along with the other cast members of Meteor Garden; Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu continued to perform together and released three studio albums as the quartet boy band F4.
Meteor Garden was released in Taiwan in 2001 and turned the leads into stars virtually overnight. [3] In 2002 Meteor Garden was released in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Korea and the Philippines in 2003. The series was aired on Xing Kong channel, and was later remade in China.

He is a Taiwanese actor and TV host. He graduated from Taipei Hwa Kang Arts School in 1998. Ou is junior to other Taiwanese entertainers such as Barbie Shu, whom he co-starred with in the Meteor Garden series, [1] [2] and Dee Shu; and senior to Alien Huang, Rainie Yang, Genie Chuo and Cyndi Wang. He and Show Luo are disciples as TV hosts to Hu Gua.
