It was designed by Willoughby Powell and built in 1900 by Alexander Mayne. It is also known as Toowoomba Town Hall. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. [1]
Heritage Plaza Tower is the current Head Office for Heritage Bank. Heritage Plaza Tower, built in 1983 at 400 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba, was the first high-rise office building in Toowoomba.
