CTV Morning Live is the name of the local morning newscasts airing on CTV's owned-and-operated stations in Western Canada, specifically, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg as well as on CTV 2 stations in Ottawa and Atlantic Canada. CTV News is the news division of the CTV Television Network in Canada. The name CTV News is also applied as the title of local and regional newscasts on the network's owned-and-operated stations (O&Os), which are closely tied to the national news division.
According to the Bureau of Broadcast Measurement's (BBM) 2009 ratings, CFRN's 6 p.m. newscast regained its position as the most-watched 6 p.m. newscast in Northern and Central Alberta to Global Edmonton's News Hour, CBC and Citytv combined. However, the fall 2010 BBM ratings reflect that Global Edmonton has returned as the most-watched newscast.
