Paradise Lake is an alpine lake in Camas County, Idaho, United States, located in the Smoky Mountains in the Sawtooth National Forest. While no trails lead directly to the lake, it is most easily accessed via trail 070. The lake is located just south of Paradise Peak. [1]
The lake has no public access boat launch. [4] It feeds into Bear Creek, which flows towards the Sammamish River at Redmond. Southeast of Seattle , the area lies on the border of Pierce and Lewis counties and includes the Paradise Valley and the Paradise Glacier , the source of the Paradise River . [ 1 ]

Access is from Bear Creek Trail which continues along abandoned and mostly overgrown mine routes. Cable reels and other mining artifacts are frequent along the trail and in the surrounding areas of the lake. [4] Lake Kanim is a short distance north over Canoe Peak towards Lennox Mountain, and Paradise Lakes are west of Bear Lakes.
On September 25, 2023, the Daily Herald announced that the Indian Lakes Hotel property was purchased by Maverick Hotels for renovation. The hotel will reopen under the Ascend Hotel Collection Prairie Lakes Resort name.
