Cougar Mountain Zoo is an 11-acre (4.5 ha) non-profit zoological park located in Issaquah, Washington, on the north slope of Cougar Mountain about 15 miles (24 km) east of Seattle. [3] It is located near the border of the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park .

Issaquah Salmon Days is a festival held in Issaquah, Washington that celebrates the return of the salmon. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the end of the salmon run, where salmon return to their birth river to lay eggs.

Lake Sammamish State Park is a park at the south end of Lake Sammamish, in King County, Washington, United States.The park, which is administered by the Washington State Park System, covers an area of 512 acres (0.80 sq mi) and has 6,858 feet (2,090 m) of waterfront; Issaquah Creek meets with Lake Sammamish within the park.
