Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKCTC) is a public community college in Cumberland, Kentucky. It is one of 16 two-year, open-admissions colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). It was founded in 1960 as the Southeast Center of the University of Kentucky by Senator Richard Glenn Freeman.
It became part of SCC in 1973. Most programs on the campus are career-technical in nature, although Academic Transfer and Business programs also are offered. On-campus residence halls help students receive a broader college-life experience in Milford. SCC also offers several programs that can be completed entirely online.

The Junior College system in the post-war years opened Bogan Junior College in southwest Chicago, Fenger College, Southeast College, and Truman College (named for U.S. President Harry S Truman, 1884–1972), in the 1950s. Originally Truman was an evening program located at the city's Amundsen High School.
In 1948, the University of Kentucky Northern Extension Center was founded in Covington. It is the unofficial beginning of the University of Kentucky Community College System—although this campus no longer operates as a community college, as it became a separate four-year institution in 1968 and is now known as Northern Kentucky University.
Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) is a public community college in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Formerly a vocational-technical school, the state legislature designated the school as a college in 1991 with the name Pines Technical College. It acquired its current name in 1998. [1]
