Jason Keith Pargin (/ ˈ p ɑːr dʒ ɪ n /; [1] born January 10, 1975) is an American humor writer and novelist who formerly wrote under the name David Wong. He is the former executive editor of humor website Cracked.com. Pargin is best known for his 2007 novel John Dies at the End, which was adapted into a 2012 film of the same name.
It is the fourth book in the John Dies at the End series, written under a working title "David Wong Dies in This One". [1] It is also the first of Pargin's novels published under his real name beginning from the first edition, after he had abandoned the "David Wong" pseudonym his previous books were published under.
