Sylheti Nagri or Sylheti Nāgarī (Sylheti: ꠍꠤꠟꠐꠤ ꠘꠣꠉꠞꠤ, síloṭi nagri, pronounced [sílɔʈi nagɾi]), known in classical manuscripts as Sylhet Nagri (ꠍꠤꠟꠦꠐ ꠘꠣꠉꠞꠤ) as well as by many other names, is an Indic script.

The Nāgarī script is the ancestor of Devanagari, Nandinagari and other variants, and was first used to write Prakrit and Sanskrit.The term is sometimes used as a synonym for Devanagari script.
The idea of establishing the Kashi Nagari Pracharini Sabha was conceived by three students at Queen's college, Varanasi – Babu Shyamsundar Das, Pandit Ramnarayan Mishra, and Shivkumar Singh.
