The Ten Tour was a concert tour by the American rock band Pearl Jam to support its debut album, Ten. It was the band's first full-scale tour after a short tour of the United States in 1991. History
Before the tour started on May 23, with a show in Lisbon, Portugal, [1] two warm-up concerts were performed in Bellingham, Washington, on May 10, [2] and Vancouver on May 11. [ 3 ] Pearl Jam's 2000 European tour ended in tragedy on June 30, 2000, with an accident at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
Pearl Jam embarked on this tour after completing the recording sessions for its second album, Vs. [1] The Europe leg included a few shows in which the band opened for U2 on the band's Zoo TV Tour, while both legs included several shows in which the band opened for Neil Young on his Harvest Moon tour. [2]
The rescheduled tour started on May 3, 2022, at Viejas Arena in San Diego, [25] with the band paying tribute to Taylor Hawkins, who had died in March 2022. [26] Four nights later, at Pearl Jam's second show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, drummer Matt Cameron led the band with a cover of the Foo Fighters' song "Cold Day in the Sun", which featured Hawkins on vocals. Chamberlain left the band following this tour and the filming of the "Alive" video on August 3, 1991, in Seattle, Washington at RKCNDY to join the Saturday Night Live band. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] For his replacement, Chamberlain suggested drummer Dave Abbruzzese , who joined the group and played the rest of Pearl Jam's live shows supporting the Ten album.

A professionally shot and edited video bootleg of the Pacific Leg tour has been circulating among fans for years, but was never officially released. Several scenes from this video can be seen in Pearl Jam Twenty, which was released in 2011.
Pearl Jam promoted its self-titled album with tours in North America, Europe, and Australia in 2006. As a warm-up for the tour, European fans were treated to a small show at the London Astoria in London, England on April 20, 2006, where Pearl Jam performed the new material and debuted live performances of "Marker in the Sand" and "Army Reserve".
