Jungle are a British band founded in 2013 by London-based producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. Jungle have released four studio albums: Jungle (2014), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize , [ 1 ] For Ever (2018), Loving in Stereo (2021), and Volcano (2023).
For Ever is the second studio album by British neo soul band, Jungle. The album was released on 14 September 2018 through XL Recordings . [ 6 ] It is their final release for XL Recordings before the formation of their own label, Caiola Records, in 2021.
The cast is made up mostly of UK rap and drill artists, including Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, Jordan McCann, Jaykae, IAMDDB, Double Lz, Poundz, and M24. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The series was filmed in London over eight weeks, beginning in April 2021.
On 16 March 2021, Jungle premiered a trailer titled Loving in Stereo featuring a vignette of the dancers regularly associated with the collective from previous videos, performing in an abandoned compound or prison. [3] At the time of the trailer's release, it was unclear whether the title was in reference to an upcoming album or a single. [4]
Volcano is the fourth album by British electronic band Jungle, released on 11 August 2023 through Caiola Records and AWAL. [2] It was preceded by the singles "Candle Flame", [6] "Dominoes", "I've Been in Love" [7] and "Back on 74". [5] The album includes collaborations with Erick the Architect, Channel Tres, Roots Manuva, Mood Talk and Bas. [1]
