The Cube is a British television game show that aired on ITV from 22 August 2009 to 23 December 2021. It was hosted by Phillip Schofield.. The original series offered contestants the chance to win a top prize of £250,000 by completing challenges from within a 4m × 4m × 4m perspex cube.
The Cube is a puzzle video game both developed and published by British [1] studio Funbox Media. Based on the British game show of the same name, the game released on November 16, 2012, worldwide, for the Nintendo 3DS, the PlayStation 3, and Wii. The game also released on the Nintendo Switch on December 2, 2022.
The game is played in teams of two people with a pre-existing relationship and occurs within a 4m × 4m × 4m transparent Perspex cube. The goal is to complete a series of seven games, each of which awards an increasing amount of prize money, before failing a total of nine times.

Cube 2: Sauerbraten, released in 2004, is the official successor of Cube. It uses another engine, the Cube 2 Engine. While the earliest revisions of the Cube 2 Engine were based on code from the Cube Engine, with time it became very different. There are many differences between the Cube Engine and the Cube 2 Engine, including two major ones.

The puzzle has 12 panels interconnected with nylon wires in a 2 × 6 rectangular shape, measuring approximately 4.25 inches (10.5 cm) by 13 inches (32 cm). The goal of the game is the same as for Rubik's Magic, which is to fold the puzzle from a 2 × 6 rectangular shape into a W-like shape with a certain tile arrangement.
The game then follows by asking the person to place and describe a cube in the scene. Once the cube is completely described, the narrator of the game then asks for the player to describe a ladder that is also placed in the scene. This process continues with foliage and/or flowers, a horse, and finally, a storm.
