Mark Anthony Aguirre (/ ə ɡ w aɪ ər / ag-WIRE; born December 10, 1959) is a Mexican-American former basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Aguirre was chosen as the first overall pick of the 1981 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks after playing three years at DePaul University.
