Charlie Barnett (born February 4, 1988) [2] is an American actor. He is known for starring as firefighter/paramedic Peter Mills on the NBC drama Chicago Fire from 2012 to 2015 [ 3 ] and Yord Fandar in The Acolyte on Disney+ .
Life and career. Barnett was born in Bluefield, West Virginia. He first made a name for himself in the late 1970s and early 1980s, performing several shows of raunchy comedy a day at outdoor parks in New York City, most notably in Washington Square Park. In September 1980, Barnett auditioned for Saturday Night Live.
By sixteen, Barnet had played on tours with Jean Goldkette's satellite band and was in New York, where he joined Frank Winegar's Pennsylvania Boys on tenor sax. Always restless, by 1931 he had relocated to Hollywood and appeared as a film extra while trying to interest local bandleaders in hot music, which was increasingly unpopular due to the Great Depression.
