Like many, my local Planet Fitness hasn't been 24/7 since their return from pandemic closure. They flipped to 24/5 for a handful of months, and now are back to reduced hours every day. Looking into switching clubs (although it would mean a much longer drive), I realized that only one in my area is still 24/7.
Most overnight workers at planet fitness are full time. If a club is 24/7 - the standard is to have 2 overnight people who are full time. So I’m not sure what the part time compliant is about. Yes I do agree, PF should hire more workers but that’s not the issue when it comes to this particular overnight topic.
When I joined PF it was specifically because my home club was 24hrs. It accommodated my work hours and the late night crowd was small. Now it closes at 10 on weekdays, 7 on weekends. Anyone else getting less access to the gym due to shortening hours of operation?
Not only planet fitness, but many coffee shops, fast food joints, libraries, etc that used to open close to midnight or 24/7 before covid, haven't returned to their precovid hours. Obviously no franchisee is going to willing choose to spend that spend that money if they don't have to. I think PF was in such a hurry to expand that they basically are allowing franchisees to do whatever they want (hours of operation, trainers on staff, pizza Monday, equipment) really the only uniformity left is the purple and yellow color ...
Planet fitness is a value oriented gym. It's mostly for people looking to improve their fitness and not aimed at bodybuilding.
If you can’t work those hours, wait until the position is offered, Tell her you’re really interested in the position except for the hours would prevent you. Tell her you have a hard stop at 5 because of your kids and if there is any flexibility in the shift, you’d love to otherwise you’d have to pass.
Hey y’all! I’ve got a quick question. So I just went into a planet fitness today (the closest one to my place of employment) to get a membership and this specific pf isn’t 24 hours. I believe they said it was 24/4 or something like that.
