Also, neither of the other three have such a problem integrating into Germany like Bavaria does. The politics differ a lot from the rest of germany too, the ruling party is the CSU, Christian - socialist-union. But when you look at it from the outside it very much seems like they are super right leaning. A)that's not an apt translation.
With Bavaria you can easily secure PU’s on most electors and Austria(Hungary and Bohemia too potentially but that’s luck) in the first 40-50 years of the game, no stupid Gov Cap modifier, better color, better starting lands, you don’t have to feel bad losing your Space Marines when you take German NI’s, the game is way more dynamic and fun starting out sandwiched between Bohemia and ...
In reality, Bavaria existed for a rather long time. So having a mission for the late game isn't exactly surprising, however another reason is that completing the tree - including the tree expansions I haven't talked about yet - may take rather long. Germany would get support from Britain. Who’d want to contain Russia and likely have allies with Poland-Lithuania already to do that). The war likely end with Germany annexing Prussia and Austria, Poland getting access to Gdańsk for trade and sea purposes (Danzig is possibly a joint condominium between Germany and Poland-Lithuania)
So the situation in the German Empire felt degrading to some. Also note that until 1871 "Germany" had always meant the entire German speaking area (often including Czechia), which Bavaria was in the middle of. After 1871, it was suddenly at the edge, and the "odd ones" in Germany.
Thus the history of Bavaria itself makes it possible to think of Bavaria as rooted in history, something which, unlike the rest of Germany, has stood the test of time. And as soon as the phrase "unlike the rest of Germany" comes into play, you open the door to Bavarian exceptionalism, to the point that there is actually a small (but at the ...
