Genoa Township. Genoa township was organized on March 11, 1837 from north half of Putnam Township. The township is bounded on the west by Marion township, on the north by Oceola, on the east by Brighton, and on the south by Hamburg. The northwest corner of Genoa is the center of Livingston County.
