DC Omnibus is a line of large format, high quality, full color, hardcover editions published by DC Comics since 2007, reprinting comics previously printed in single issue format.
DC Deluxe Editions are an oversized hardcover comic reprint format from DC Comics. The books feature the same dimensions as the company's Omnibus line (~7.5" x 11"), although typically with fewer pages per volume. Like the Omnibus line, Deluxe Editions are printed in full color, on high quality paper stock and include multiple comics per volume.

DC was granted the license to the Red Circle characters in 2008. DC planned to merge the characters into the DC Universe and tapped writer J. Michael Straczynski to write their introductory stories in the series The Brave and the Bold in 2009. The line was instead launched as a series of one-shots in August 2009. [7]
In September 2011, DC Comics relaunched their entire line of publications, dubbing the new publishing initiative as The New 52.The initiative consisted of a new imprint of titles, all labeled with "The New 52" logo, as well as creating a rebooted DC Universe post-"Flashpoint" that saw characters from the former WildStorm and Vertigo imprints being absorbed into the main DC Comics line.
