The Garfield Show is an animated television series produced by Dargaud Media and Paws, Inc. It is based on the American Garfield comic strip [1] created by Jim Davis.The animated series focuses on a new series of adventures for the characters of Garfield, Odie, and their owner Jon Arbuckle, alongside staple characters from the strip and a number of unique additions for the program. Garfield and Odie watch the news about a villain named Silent Jack, who robs houses while the housekeepers are away. Meanwhile, Jon has gone to the dentist to get his tooth fixed (leaving him unable to talk) and he forgot his key at the dentist. Garfield and Odie have been causing mayhem around the house and mistaken their owner for the villain.
Odie is a yellow-furred, brown-eared dog described by Garfield to be a purebred clown and a dachshund in the live-action movies that resides with Jon and Garfield and is, at times, Garfield's best friend. The name came from a commercial written by Davis, which featured Odie the Village Idiot.

Garfield and Odie decide that now is the time to collect Jon and leave before they are possibly attacked by the beast, and the two run all the way back to the campsite. Upon their return, Garfield tries to warn Jon of the danger, but Jon doesn't seem to understand the warning, insisting that they have dried fruit and refuses to move.
