Catherine Ellen Shipton (born 27 March 1957) [1] is an English actress, known for portraying the role of Lisa "Duffy" Duffin in the BBC medical drama Casualty.After leaving the series in 2020, she has since appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as Lydia Smith.
Duffy is one of ten original characters conceived by the creators of Casualty Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin. [1] Cathy Shipton was working as an aerobics instructor and thinking of giving up her acting career when she received an audition for the show.
