The commercial district is the historic center of Cleveland's Czech community, and is an excellent example of a district that grew along a streetcar line.

The district runs on Broadway between Cable and Barkwill Avenues, and on E. 55th Street between Lufkin and Broadway Avenues, with a few buildings to either side.
