Though members participated in general activities hosted by AAAC, some artists also splintered into various sub-groups. Collectively, they put together annual interdisciplinary shows at the Foundation for Asian American Independent Media April Asian American Showcase at the Gene Siskel Film Center. The Collective consisted of four subgroups.
